How it all started...
It all began in Temple Bar in Dublin, Ireland in 2019. Well, actually our love for gin began long before that, but let's go with 2019.
We were sitting at the bar sampling various gins, as we love to do when we travel, and were commiserating on how challenging it was to find
gin glassware and cool gin related swag and clothing. We didn't want to have to order stuff from overseas.
After a few (OK many) more gin and tonics and traveling all over Ireland sampling gin and tonic ice cream and visiting gin distilleries, we decided we needed our own gin shop. A place where the gin lover could go and find anything and everything related to their love for gin. And so it happened and here we are with The Gin Shop.
We live on beautiful Prince Edward Island, Canada. We love to travel and sample craft gin. We love to share our love of the spirit with anyone willing to listen. And our favourite saying is "This is NOT your Grandmother's gin!". We love to cook with gin and our children (who are young adults) ask at most meals "Is there gin in this?" and the answer is almost always yes.
We really appreciate you being here and hope you can find something you love that shows your love for gin. We are always adding new things to the shop so do check back often. If there is something you would love to see us carry, please do let us know.
